Well, that lovely weather was not to be entirely: we got caught in the rain when hiking on Saturday morning. Charley dog took that as a personal insult but became a little happier again when she could nap in the sunshine.(Safely from behind the living room window.)
Nou, dat lekkere weer kwam zaterdag niet helemaal uit: we kregen een dikke bui over ons heen midden in de bossen. Charley dog vatte dat persoonlijk op en was diep beledigd. Ze werd wat blijer na een dutje in t zonnetje (veilig vanachter t raam in de woonkamer).
Kept on eating from these cherries: so incredible sweet and juicy. And the roses were on sale: 12 for 6 dollars. I think that makes them even prettier;0)
Bleef maar snoepen van deze kersen: ongelooflijk zoet en sappig. En de rozen waren in de aanbieding: 12 voor 6 dollars. Daardoor zien ze er nog fraaier uit;0)
Finally bought this wall rack for post cards! Wanted one for a long time.I love postcards and they sort of wandered through the house. Now they have there own place where they are cherished and admired.
Eindelijk dit rekje gekocht voor ansichtkaarten! Dat wilde ik al heel lang. Ik ben dol op ansichten en ze zwierven maar wat door t huis.Nu hebben ze een eigen plekje waar ze kunnen worden gekoesterd en bewonderd.
With my workroom in order and all my craft stuff unpacked again, there is a flurry of activities going on. Did some embroidery and made new potholders for my new kitchen.
En nu mijn wekkamer weer op orde is en alle dozen met handwerkspul zijn uitgepakt, snort het van activiteiten daar. Heb wat geborduurd en gezellige pannelappen gemaakt voor de nieuwe keuken.
And husband and I finished the dining room! New dining room chairs should arrive in 2 weeks…
En Lief en ik hebben de eetkamer afgemaakt! Nieuwe eetkamerstoelen arriveren hopelijk in 2 weken…

Thanks Pit, I had seen those cardholders on another blog but that lady had bought hers on a fleamarket. It seems that here : http://www.argonautdisplays.com/ is the only place you buy them if you are not so lucky to find one in a flea market. After a two year search, I gave up and ordered a new one;0) I am indeed very pleased with it. Herzenliche Grusze, Johanna.
