So Far, So Good!

‘America is another name for opportunity’

-Ralph Waldo Emerson

Ours is a blessed and fortunate live and I can’t be grateful enough for that.

We were happy in The Netherlands and we were happy in Canada. We have travelled quite a lot too and we discovered that where ever you go, you meet lovely people. So when my husband last year, got ‘an offer he could not refuse’  and was invited to come and work in Cincinnati, we did not hesitate and packed our bags again.

Now it is 6 months since the move and we love it here! The Mid-West culture with, being on the Ohio river, having  ‘one toe in the Southerns States’ , is new to us and ever so interesting.

We find the people welcoming, kind hearted, helpful and pleasantly strait forward. We made wonderful new friends. Mother Nature is beautiful in Ohio and Cincinnati is peaceful, calm and tidy. Life is good in Ohio!

T leven is goed in Ohio!

Love and Liefs, Johanna.

    • Thank you Annie. At the end of the month we will move to our ‘final destination’ and unpack the boxes which have been closed for almost a will be Christmas in June!

  1. Thank you, Linda. I find Cincinnati fascinating as well: it is a mix of contemporay art/design and German heritage and yet so calm as well. and not overwhelmingly big. Lots to explore still;0)
