I am Johanna, live close to Cincinnati, Ohio with my love and the dog. Our two sons live in Toronto, Canada, however we originate from The Netherlands.
I love cozy, beautiful, also kitschy but above all the positive things. I do not like somber and complicated stuff. My heroine is Flora Poste from the fabulous book ‘Cold Comfort Farm’ by Stella Gibbons. She likes it; ” Peaceful, calm and tidy” …I could not have said t better myself;0)

Thanks for visiting my blog! I made a few trips to Cinci back in the 70’s when I lived in Lexington, KY. My friends and I would plan shopping trips! I loved the restaurants and the Shubert Theatre. Can’t imagine how Cinci has changed after all these years! Looking forward to checking out more of your blog.
Thank you Linda! We just moved to the US in December and we love Cinci. We have been told that at the moment they are renovating down town and first results are indeed beautiful and makes the people here very proud and excited. We still have a lot to discover here though;o)

Hi, Johanna. I have never been to Ohio, but I have been to the Netherlands a couple of times, working with translators on a church project years ago. I have fond memories of those experiences — Now that I look back on it, I’m glad I only had money to take the bus from Copenhagen to Amsterdam, because of all the beautiful countryside I got to see. I look forward to more of your fun projects!
